Terms of Service

Last updated: 06.08.2026

These terms govern all use of Weddigo. We have written them as plainly as we can, because an agreement nobody can read is an agreement nobody read. Opening an account and using the service means accepting them; if you do not accept them, do not use the service.

1. What the service is

Weddigo is a platform for running an event: uploading a guest list, sending personal invitations over WhatsApp and SMS, collecting RSVPs and preferences, seating charts, budget tracking, and a shared guest photo album (Snapigo).

The service is intended for private events in Israel. Messages are sent to Israeli mobile numbers only — a non-Israeli number is refused by the system and no message is sent to it.

2. Accounts and event approval

  • Opening an account requires a valid email address and accurate contact details.
  • Every new event is approved by us before it can send messages. We may decline to approve an event, or suspend an existing one, if its use appears to fall outside these terms.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for everything done through the account. You may invite collaborators to help run the event — each of them acts on your behalf.

3. The guest list — your responsibility

This is the central clause of this agreement. The guest list you upload is yours, not ours. By using the service you represent and warrant that:

(a) the people on the list are people you invited to your own event; (b) you obtained their contact details lawfully; (c) you have a lawful basis to share them with us for the purpose of sending the invitations; and (d) the content you approve for sending concerns your event only.

In the language of Israeli privacy law, you are the database owner and we are a holder of it on your behalf. We do not choose recipients, do not add recipients of our own, and do not use your list for any other purpose — not our marketing, not transfer to a third party, and not association with another event. This document, together with the privacy policy, is the written agreement between us covering the holding and securing of that data.

If a third party brings a claim against us arising from a list you uploaded or content you sent, you will indemnify us for loss we incur as a result, provided we notify you of the claim within a reasonable time and let you take part in handling it.

4. Prohibited use

  • Sending any advertising, commercial or promotional content to guests — this channel is for invitations and event updates only.
  • Uploading lists that were bought, scraped or otherwise produced from anything other than your own personal guest list.
  • Sending abusive, misleading, threatening or rights-infringing content.
  • Attempting to circumvent technical limits, reach another event's data, or overload the system.
  • Using the service for an event that is not yours without its owner's explicit permission.

Breaching this clause justifies immediate suspension or closure of the account. A guest who asks to stop receiving messages is removed from all future sending automatically, and that cannot be overridden.

5. Message delivery — what we can promise

Messages are sent through external providers — Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform and SMS providers. We do our best to send every message on time, but actual delivery depends on things outside our control: Meta's policies, mobile network availability, blocks set by the recipient, a wrong number, or a device that is switched off.

We therefore do not warrant a delivery rate, a delivery time, or that every guest will read the message. What we do undertake is to show you at any moment what was sent, what was delivered and what failed, so you can act on it.

We may throttle sending rate or daily volume to keep the account healthy with Meta — a limit like that protects you too, because an account blocked mid-send is the larger harm.

6. The photo album (Snapigo)

The album is off by default and opens only when you choose. Photos and videos guests upload are stored for your event alone and are never published anywhere by us.

You are responsible for the content uploaded to your event's album. If someone appearing in a photo asks for it to be removed, remove it — or contact us and we will help. We may remove content that appears unlawful or abusive.

Face recognition is off by default. If the event owners enable photo search, recognition templates are created from the photographer's gallery and from photos shared with all guests, as described in the privacy policy's “Face recognition in Snapigo” section; couple-only photos are never scanned, and templates are deleted with the album.

7. Payment, cancellation and refunds

The included usage and the price, where a charge applies, are shown to you before billing and include VAT.

For a distance contract you have a cancellation right under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law: you may cancel within 14 days of the transaction or of receiving the particulars document, whichever is later. As long as no first send to guests has taken place, the refund is full. Once sending has begun, the refund is pro-rated for the unused portion, less sending costs already incurred with the providers.

Cancellation requests go to the address at the foot of this page and are handled within 14 business days of receipt.

8. Warranty and limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be available without interruption or free of faults, but we do undertake to address a reported fault as quickly as is reasonable in the circumstances — and, for an event taking place that day, as the highest priority.

Our total liability to you, on any cause of action, will not exceed the amount you actually paid us for the service in the six months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit.

This limitation does not apply to harm caused wilfully or by gross negligence, and does not derogate from rights that cannot be contracted out of under law.

9. Termination, retention and deletion

You may close your account at any time. Guest details are kept while the event is active and for a limited period afterwards as a record for you, and are then deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any point.

A guest may contact us directly to access, correct or delete the information about them, and we will handle the request as the law requires — and tell you we have.

The full detail of what we hold, where it is stored and how it is secured is in the privacy policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. A material change will be shown to you on your next sign-in and will require fresh acceptance. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts of the Tel Aviv district have exclusive jurisdiction.
